Computing with Shapes
Shapes show up in applied research questions in various ways.
We will consider the different roles that shapes can have, using examples
from GIS. The practical problems that will be mentioned are 3D reconstruction,
finding clusters in health data, segmenting trajectories, and visualizing data.
