In their seminal book "Theory of Games and Economic Behavior" (1944), von Neumann und Morgenstern proposed a simplified model of poker which lends itself to exact analysis and captures some interesting features of real poker. We present an extension of this model which includes the concept of community cards, i.e., random influences which modify the strength of players' hands after betting has taken place.
Joint work with Nicla Bernasconi and Julian Lorenz.
