Location of the Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science is divided into four Institutes which are distributed over several buildings in the vicinity of the IFW building. Buildings include the IFW building (main building), the Computing Center RZ (one floor) and the CLW.

IFW Building

The IFW building is the main building of the Department of Computer Science:

The entrance at Haldensteig 4 is opened from 07:00 to 19:00 (local time).

After 19:00 please take the main entrance of the computer center.

RZ, Computing Center

In the RZ building, i.e. the computing center,the H floor is a part of the department of computer science.

The RZ and the IFW building are interconnected by a passageway. The IFW building can therefore be reached via the RZ if the entrance at Haldensteig 4 / Weinbergstrasse is already closed.

The entrance of the computing center is opened from 07:00 to 22:00 (local time).

CLW Building

The small CLW building is also a part of the department of computer science.

Visitors should ring the bell at the entrance (Sekretariat or any other floor).
